PDP Guber Aspirant Admonishes Nigerians To Love One Another Beyond Valentine
The Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in Benue State, Architect Terwase Orbunde, has challenged Nigerians and Benue people in particular, to love one another and sustain it beyond the feast of Saint Valentine.
The 2023 guber hopeful in a statement in Makurdi, emphasised the importance of love in the society, noting that without love, our communities will always remain in crisis.
“One of the most important things missing in our world today is love. It is a significant recipe for communal living. Without love, our communities will be in chaos and turbulence,” he stressed.
The PDP Governorship Aspirant said, Almighty God created us in his likeness and since he embodies love, He expects us to live out the love he embedded in us.
The former Chief of Staff to the Governor appealed to Benue people in particular and Nigerians in general, to be their brothers’ keeper as Saint Valentine is been celebrated worldwide on 14th February every year; noting that an injury to one, should be an injury to all.
He advised parents and guardians to bring up their children to follow the path of showing love and living selflessly in a community where love shall be in abundance as he said such will be the best gift to the world.
Pastor Orbunde, a former House of Representatives member for Kwande/Ushongo federal constituency, therefore, who on behalf of himself, family, political associates and Governorship Campaign Organisation, therefore, charged Benue people to live in love and harmony with one another.
According to him, his aspirations to succeed governor Samuel Ortom on 29th May, 2023 was born out of his desire to redesign Benue in such a way that all residents will be protected from external aggressors and create wealth for the people to live meaningfully.
He scored governor Ortom high in the area of protection of lives, infrastructural development, promising to build on what is on ground if voted into power in next year’s general election.
